MOONSHINE DOVES

Split from the mountain domes,
When my wife lends me her puckered lips,
The yellow split ends of pine planks,
Meekly take the plane's sharp edge,
Obsessed with my needs and desires
I throw a big bucket of garbage all over the lawn.

Time is bashing in my skull,
Autumn stains my blood,
The whole planet curves to a lull,
The seas grow huge and flood
The world the size of a frozen pea,
Spins out of orbit and descends
A thousand universes of time and space,
To lie with the one God's beautiful face
And leave all murder far behind.
